Hostel 2 comp room provides computing facilities for all inmates for 24 hours.

4 computers are up currently having latest Ubuntu distributions having Logitech keyboards and mouse.

For security, wooden cabinets will be made for all the comps.

6 new comps are sanctioned by CC.

4 new keyboards and mice are installed.

All the current hardware and cables are securely locked.

6 new LAN chords and monitor locks have been brought for the new comps.

New comps will come as soon as cabinets are completed.

1. Keys will be issued only when i-card is deposited.
2. Students are strictly warned not to turn off or shutdown or reboot any computer under any circumstances.
3. The person whose i-card is used to issue the computer room keys must be in the computer room till the key is returned.
4. The computers have been provided strictly for academic purpose and should be used for the same. Strict action will be taken for its misuse.
5. Watching movies or pornography and playing games are strictly prohibited.
6. All computer parts and accessories should be handled with care. Any damage to them will lead to heavy fines.
7. Switch off lights and fans before leaving the room.
8. Eatables are not allowed inside the computer room.
9. Students are not to intrude the private content (hacking) of any other user.
10. Keep the comp room clean, it’s for hostel use.
