TECHNOLOGY", thats what the 'T' in IIT stands for. Many IITians do not know much about tech when they first come into IIT ,but they learn quite fast with the help and advice from experienced seniors.
Indeed freshies are the most tech enthu species in IIT. You don't have to know much to start tech, all it takes is a smart mind(for the ideas), a lot of enthu, hard work and some cash :).
The tech scene at Hostel 2 is quite enthusiastic with more and more hostellites taking part in tech each year.
