Hi,

First of all, congrats on being selected.

JEE maths and Engineering maths are a little bit different. You'll find that out when you reach here. Till then, just chill out.

Though it helps if you are good at JEE maths, you can still score well if you put efforts right from day 1. Most of the professors are very approachable. You'll be having tutorials in addition to classes. You'll be allotted Teaching Assistants who will help you out with problems.  A little effort from your side and you'll do great!  Smiley

calculus has been scary for me (infact most of maths is) right from my standard 12, bcoz I mostly concentrated on Phy/chem 4 jee preparations...this really makes me feel inadequately prepared..but thnx !  Smiley

There is very little JEE calculus that is used as it is, certainly in your first year calculus course. The approach is quite different, so everyone is more or less in the same boat, regardless of how much calculus they've done before. You don't have to worry much. Just take it as it comes Smiley

Arre, abhi abhi to jee khatam hui hai...thoda chill kar yaar ! You have to study for 4/5 years once you come here anyway !
In case you do want to study, I suggest you revise your jee maths concepts..they will help you in your courses.
