Mattresses and Sim Cards

Mattresses can be bought from the vendors outside each hostel. The maximum rates have been fixed. The rates can be found in the attached doc. You can bargain for a discount on the mattresses;)
A 10% discount is mandatory for items sold by MRP.

If any vendor is found violating rules stated in the circular, a complaint about him should be lodged with the security guard of the respective hostel immediately.

Also, we will have Sim card stalls set up by Vodafone, Docomo and Airtel on 19th/20th July.
The Institute Hostel Affairs Council has bargained with them for special offers for IIT students and hence we have very nice pay plans available this year.
