- Awarded National Award in Athletics by the Ministry of Education and Social Welfare, Government of India in the year 1977. The award was given to top 5 Indian athletes in pentathlon (Open Senior Category).
- Selected to represent India in the Australian Masters games, Adelaide held between 5th to 14th October 2007.
- Sports proficiency in Athletics, Skating and Handball.
