Home to 220+ IIT Bombay M.Sc. students. Tansa House is a residential premises present within the IIT Bombay campus. Tansa is a rich blend of intellects coming from various parts of India and thus celebration mode persists round the year. The residents herein are popularly known as 'Tansaite'.
Tansa House provides great mess facilities with hygiene as the main concern. Tansa's Mess has a vast menu range for both veg and non-veg, which changes within 15 days. Special diets are prepared on each event day and Gala Dinner, Tea Party, etc. are arranged.

Tansa House has several sports facilities and equipments for Volley-ball, Table-Soccer, Cricket, Badminton, Table-Tennis etc. It also has gym facilities within the hostel premises.
Library in the Tansa House is well air-conditioned and provides peaceful enviornment for students to study. It has well furnished study table and chairs, books for all the genres for students having different goals. During exam season, library remains full for whole day and night as well.
Tansa House celebrates every small events and moments as festivals, council organizes various events frequently, so all the studets from different regions of the country share their cultre with each other. It also has all the musical instruments which becomes the cherry on top for the events.

For example, Sports, Cultural, Tech councils, General Championships, various clubs of the institute and events organised by them, etc. Tansa, within it has a great pride of nurturing great talents and so are our proud residents.
