A full exhaustive camp where one who has never picked a Basketball can prepare to be the one to soon pick up the Inter IIT trophy.

IBP, Institute Basketball Playoffs, is a great opportunity for all the instizens to play alongside great players across the institute which is restricted in the GC format. A great learning experience and fun is an add-on. It will be scheduled in even semester every year.

Institute Basketball Playoffs for both boys and girls. It is scheduled like this:

  1. It starts with bidding for players. Proper bidding format is followed in the team allocation.
  2. This is followed by league matches and playoffs - where we have witnessed huge amounts of enthusiasm.
  3. The top enthusiastic basketball players from the institute as well as the alumni available in the city participate in this league

NSO

Most of the freshmen who start playing basketball in IIT are trained in the NSO sessions taken by the coach Mr. Vivek Pandey. Every year only 30 students are selected for basketball NSO. The fundamental skills of all students are built upon in these one and half hour sessions twice a week along with development in advanced game-play skills and fitness. NSO in basketball has been a very memorable experience for all players, some of whom went on to become Inter-IIT legends!
