Both the boys and the girls GC are held once a year in the Autumn Semester. In this event the best tennis players from each hostel go head to head to determine which hostel boasts of the best talent in Table Tennis.
This tournament is open to all students, alumni, professors and staff. It is highly competitive and is a must play for all table tennis enthusiasts as it presents a great opportunity to learn for intermediates as it provides them a platform to go up against experienced players who are a part of the Inter-IIT team.
A tournament initiated with the goal to give the freshmen an opportunity to showcase their talent. All freshies fight it out in a knockout format to prove their mettle.
Pre-Inter IIT Camp: This is your first step towards representing IIT Bombay at the Inter IIT Sports Meet. The trials for it are usually held at the beginning of the autumn semester, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to showcase your skills and enter the IIT Bombay’s table tennis team. The camp runs throughout the semester and you can improve your game by approaching former Inter IIT players and the Inter IIT coach.
