The Aeromodelling Club proudly brings back its flagship rocketry event, “Ascent 5.0 – The Rocketry Workshop.” This session will take you through the essentials of rocket design, stability, and flight mechanics. You’ll also get introduced to OpenRocket, a powerful simulation tool that lets you design, test, and refine your rockets virtually. To top it off, we’ll be releasing a problem statement during the workshop, officially kicking off an institute-wide competition where you can apply what you’ve learned.
