Dear PG Junta, The Institute Sports Council is pleased to invite applications for the PG Sports Convener positions for the academic year 2026-27. We are looking to build a dynamic and enthusiastic PG Sports Cabinet that will lead the planning, execution, and promotion of postgraduate sports activities throughout the year. If you are passionate about sports, event management, design, media, or community engagement, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the postgraduate community while developing your leadership and organizational skills. We are inviting applications for the following positions: • Events Convener – 4 posts o Plan, coordinate, and execute PGGC sporting events throughout the academic year. o Work with the PG Sports Nominee, Institute Sports Secretaries, and Department Event Secretaries to ensure smooth event planning and execution. o Coordinate event logistics, registrations, and on-ground operations. o Document events through photographs and videos, and maintain event records. • Design, PR & Media Convener – 2 posts o Design posters, banners, certificates, merchandise, and other promotional material. o Manage PGGC publicity through social media, newsletters, and other communication platforms. o Curate and edit event photographs and videos for promotional use. o Maintain consistent branding and ensure timely communication of all PGGC activities. As a Convener, you will work closely with the Institute PG Sports Nominee to plan and execute sports events, lead a team of coordinators, and help foster a vibrant and engaging sports culture across the postgraduate community.
