Hello from Team SHUNYA,
We invite you to participate in Case for Change, a sustainability-focused consulting competition that challenges students to solve complex real-world problems using structured thinking and strategic analysis.
Participants will work in teams to tackle systems-level sustainability challenges, develop actionable strategies, and present their solutions to a panel of expert judges. The competition is designed to simulate real consulting problem-solving, where analytical depth, clear frameworks, and practical implementation plans are key.
Competition Structure
Phase 1 – Registration & Initial Approach
Teams will register and select one of two problem statements. Each team must submit a 2–3 slide Initial Approach Note outlining their understanding of the problem, early hypotheses, analytical frameworks, and potential data sources. This submission is mandatory but non-evaluative.
Phase 2 – Mentorship & Refinement
Selected teams will receive guidance from mentors who will help refine their approach, deepen their analysis, and assess feasibility.
Phase 3 – Final Submission
Teams will submit their Final Presentation, including a root cause analysis, data-backed insights, strategic recommendations, an implementation roadmap, financial feasibility, a risk assessment, and impact estimation.
Phase 4 – Grand Finale
