Greetings from AZeotropy!! Excited for the next ChemVision lecture by AZeotropy! Prof. Abraham Stroock, distinguished professor at Cornell University, renowned for his pioneering work in chemical and biomolecular engineering. With a background spanning physics and chemical physics, his research at the Stroock lab focuses on understanding and manipulating dynamic processes at micrometer scales, particularly in the context of plant physiology and synthetic systems inspired by plant functions He'll delve into the captivating topic "The lungs of our planet - engineering analyses plant leaf function" he will discusses how plants manage exchanges between Earth and the atmosphere, focusing on the balance between carbon assimilation and water transpiration. He introduces AquaDust, a nanotechnology from his lab, revealing insights into leaf transport processes and a mechanism enhancing water-use efficiency. Date - 16 March Venue - LHC 101 , IIT Bombay
