Dear Students,
It has come to our attention that several LHC rooms opened for end-semester study are being left in an untidy condition, with food wrappers, packets, and other waste being discarded inside the classrooms.
This is a serious violation of the guidelines clearly communicated earlier. Consumption of food inside lecture halls is strictly prohibited, and failure to adhere to this rule reflects poorly on the student body as a whole.
Please note the following:
- Faculty members and institute authorities regularly inspect these classrooms, and the current unhygienic conditions have already been noticed.
- Such misuse of facilities may lead to immediate withdrawal of access to these study spaces for all students.
- Instances of non-compliance may also result in disciplinary action against individuals involved.
These rooms have been opened as an additional facility to support you during the examination period. It is expected that students use them responsibly and maintain basic cleanliness and discipline.
We request your immediate cooperation in:
- Strictly avoiding food consumption inside classrooms
- Disposing of waste only in designated bins outside
- Leaving the room in a clean condition for others
This is being taken with utmost seriousness, and any further violations will not be tolerated.
For clarity, the following LHC rooms have been specifically designated and opened for end-semester study as well as Tutorial Services Center (TSC) sessions:
LC 001, LC 002, LC 101, LC 102, LC 201, LC 202, LH 101, LH 102, LT001, LT002, LT003, LT004, LT005 and LT101.
Students are requested to use only these rooms for study purposes during the permitted hours.
Let us ensure that we are able to continue providing such facilities by maintaining the standards expected of us.
Warm Regards,
