Greetings Everyone! Team Bombay 76 presents — Inter IIT Selection Camp for Computer Vision. This camp is your chance to showcase innovation, deep learning expertise, and computer vision problem-solving skills on the road to Inter IIT Tech 14.0. The challenge revolves around automated chromosome identification — a critical task in genetic disorder and cancer diagnosis. Participants are expected to develop a robust computer vision pipeline that can identify and classify chromosomes from metaphase cell images. The objective is to train a model that assigns identities to chromosomes (1–23, X, Y) from raw microscopy images, transforming them into labeled karyograms. Dataset and Goal: You’ll be provided with two datasets — one for single chromosome segmentation and another for full metaphase chromosome classification. Your task is to- Segment chromosomes from the background. Classify them into the correct chromosomal identity. Evaluate your model using the auPRC curve.
