Dear Students, Greetings from Student Support Services, UGAC! Applications for the post of CS 101 UG TA are now open. Those willing to apply, please use the Google form below. IMPORTANT AND TO BE NOTED: It has been observed that students (especially UGs) often do not commit the required time and effort as a teaching assistant, which leads to a certain bias against them. It is highly recommended to fill the TA-ship of a particular course only if you are interested in pursuing it sincerely and can dedicate proper time to the task. The labs and lectures are in the following slots. Requesting you to please apply for the TAship only if you are free in any one of the slots/schedules given below. Also, none of your relatives or close friends should be enrolled in the CS101 course. Lab Schedule: Lab, Mon: 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM (Slot: 2A and 3A) Lab, Tues: 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM (Slot: 1B and 2B) Lab, Thurs: 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM (Slot: 4C and 1C) Lab, Fri: 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM (Slot: 5B and 6B - till 11:30) Lecture Schedule: Lec, Mon: 03:30 PM to 05:00 PM (Slot: 9A) Lec, Thurs: 03:30 PM to 05:00 PM (Slot: 9B) Lec, Tues: 02:00 PM to 03:30 PM (Slot: 10A) Lec, Fri: 02:00 PM to 03:30 PM (Slot: 10B) Eligibility for CS 101 TA-ship: (i) Year of study - 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th (ii) Grade in CS 101 - AP/AA/AB/BB/BC Based on your responses, you will be selected for an in-person programming test. Your performance in this test will determine if you are shortlisted for a brief in-person interview. Note that they will NOT be conducted remotely or online. Programming Test: Sat, 10th Jan 2026, 10:00 AM Interview: Sat, 10th Jan, and Sun, 11th Jan (Detailed schedule will be shared after the programming test) Note: 1) No student can become a TA for more than one course in a semester simultaneously 2) A student can apply for TAship in a maximum of 3 courses 3) All the TAs applying to the position might not be selected by the course instructor. The course instructor holds the right to select or reject a student's TA application. 4) All the courses have their own application deadlines and interview schedule (if required) 5) No applications will be accepted after the deadline for that particular course has been reached.
