This comes off the back of a landmark season - IIT Bombay Racing finished 4th overall at Formula Student AI UK and made history as the first and only Indian team to demonstrate a fully working driverless race car at Formula Bharat. About the Team IIT Bombay Racing designs and builds formula-style electric race cars that compete autonomously at international Formula Student competitions. The Driverless division owns the full autonomy stack - from raw sensor data to the commands that steer the car around a track at race speed. What You'll Work On Perception using LiDAR and cameras State estimation and localization Path planning and trajectory generation Vehicle controls and autonomous navigation Building simulation environments and in-house simulators from scratch Integration and testing on a full scale formula student race car If you're interested in autonomous vehicles, robotics, AI, or high-performance engineering, this is a golden opportunity to work on real, cutting-edge technology. Eligibility Open to first-year undergraduate students (B.Tech / Dual Degree / B.Des). Recruitment Process Hackathon: A mandatory orientation session will be held on Saturday, 14th March where the problem statements, rules, and submission details will be explained.
