Finance Club, IIT Bombay, brings you the first ever Equity Research Competition at an undergraduate level. A perfect opportunity to delve into the world of finance and stock markets, or hone your investing skills- You'll be picking a stock, analysing it via rigorous research methods, and presenting your final analysis to a jury of experts with a chance of winning up to Rs. 50,000. Many of you must be excited about the equity research competition but, understandably, worried that you'll fall behind if you have no previous knowledge of investing and financial markets. Don't worry, we've got you covered. We'll be conducting a live, in-person speaker session by Mr. Vibhor Agarwal, AIR-35 in the CA Examination, who now works as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan. The sessions will teach you how to go about picking a stock to invest in and how to subsequently go about analysing the financial statements and merit of the company whose stock you've chosen.
