Greetings everyone, Are you passionate about sustainability, engineering innovation, and solving real-world challenges? Do you aspire to apply your skills to projects that make a tangible impact? We invite you to join Team ChemEca IIT Bombay, a student-led tech team focused on tackling sustainability challenges. Team ChemEca IIT Bombay works at the intersection of engineering and sustainability. We aim to build practical solutions to real-world problems: ones that make a difference to both the planet and industry. Our flagship projects include Direct Air Capture (DAC), a breakthrough technology that removes CO₂ directly from the air. We are exploring how it can be adapted to urban and industrial spaces to make carbon removal scalable and impactful. We participate in global competitions like Open Air Carbon Removal Challenge, ChemE Cube, Global Sustainability Challenge etc. Founded last year, we have worked on projects across areas like process intensification, direct air capture, and sustainable design. From simulations to hands-on prototyping, we offer a space where students turn classroom knowledge into real innovation. From this tenure onwards, we are also collaborating with esteemed faculties at IIT Bombay for delivering relevant and exciting engineering projects particularly around computational R&D and real world applications of AI/ML in engineering. We are now opening recruitment for motivated fresher undergraduate students from all departments and disciplines to join us as Junior Trainees across our subsystems. At ChemEca, we value curiosity, dedication, and the ability to work collaboratively. Prior experience is not mandatory nor expected. What matters most is your willingness to learn and contribute.
