Hello freshies!
Greetings from Career Cell, UGAC!
Now that you have spent a reasonable amount of time in the institute, you have witnessed the vast diversity of events and activities that happen in the institute. Apart from academics, you also witness various multiple Tech, Sports, and Cultural extracurricular activities, to mention a few.
As you are stepping into your 'Sophomore Year' of college, you must be thinking about what is a 'PoR' or 'Position of Responsibility', how to apply for one, how to figure out if that is something that fits you, or even if it is necessary to have.
To answer all your queries along the lines of:
- What is a PoR?
- What are the different types of PoRs that one can take up?
- How to balance academic commitments with extra-curricular activities?
- What can I learn in each PoR and what are the opportunities that await?
- How can time be managed effectively?
We bring to you Fundae Talks 2.0: A session to give you a brief about what to expect from PoRs and a place for you to get all your doubts and difficulties cleared by seniors who have excelled in the relevant fields. This session will also serve as a quick overview of some of the activities you can expect multiple student bodies to conduct over the coming summers.
We have with us the following speakers on the panel to help guide you:
- Tushaar Jhamtani [Overall Coordinator, PAF, TheatreFest, Showstopper, Department Research Coordinator (ESED); Academic Coordinator, SSS; Head and Team Lead, MRT]
- Sthitadhi Mutsuddy [Institute Cultural Nominee; Institute Literary Arts Secretary, Literati; Convener, Wespeak ]

- Taniishq Kadam [DAMP-Coordinator, Mechanical Engineering; Editor, Insight; Academic Coordinator, SSS]
