Greetings from the Institute Sports Council! We are excited to invite all the girls at IIT Bombay to the second Girls’ Cricket Workshop, organized by the IIT Bombay Cricket Club. Following the enthusiastic response to our previous session, this workshop is designed to further introduce participants to the game, strengthen basic skills, and help players gain confidence on the pitch. This session is especially aimed at preparing participants ahead of the Mock Girls’ Cricket General Championship, which begins on 31st January 2026. Whether you are new to cricket or already have some experience, this workshop will provide a fun, supportive, and engaging environment to learn and play. Workshop Details Date: 28th January 2026 (Wednesday) Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Venue: Indoor Cricket Nets (opposite Hostel 3) Note: Sports shoes are compulsory to attend the workshop. The session will cover the fundamentals of batting, bowling, and fielding, along with basic game awareness to help participants feel match-ready before the Mock GC.
