The Adventure Club, IIT Bombay is excited to announce a winter Himalayan trek to Gulabi Kantha, an offbeat and scenic trekking destination located in the Yamunotri Valley, Uttarakhand. Known for its pristine alpine meadows, dense forests, and relatively less-crowded trails, Gulabi Kantha offers a rewarding high-altitude trekking experience, especially suitable for student groups. The trek reaches a maximum altitude of 12,792 ft (3,900 m) and offers 360-degree panoramic views of prominent Himalayan peaks, including Bandarpoonch, Black Peak (Kalanag), Swargarohini, Chaukhamba, and the Gangotri massif. With gradual altitude gain and proper acclimatization, this easy to moderate trek is ideal for first-time high-altitude trekkers as well as experienced participants.
