Dear Students, Greetings from the Institute Hostel Affairs Council! We hope you are doing well. This email is to inform you about the hostel vacation schedule for the upcoming semester break in December 2025. As you are aware, the placement season and several major institute, departmental, and student events are scheduled during this period. To accommodate these activities, the following students are required to vacate their hostel rooms during the semester break: A) All 1st and 2nd year UG students B) All 1st year master’s students (e.g., M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc, MPP, M.Phil, etc.) C) All 1st year Integrated program students (e.g., M.Sc-Ph.D, M.Tech-Ph.D, MBA-Ph.D, etc.) For 3rd year UG students, if you wish to stay back (for self-study, internship, PoR, or any other reason pertaining to academic requirements), you must submit your name to your respective Hall Manager. Room retention charges will be applied as per the institute norms. If you are planning to be away from the campus during December period, you must fill out the room vacation form, submit it to your Hall Manager and vacate your room. Failure to do so will result in full hostel retention charges as per institute policy. Additionally, if any other students plan to leave campus in December 2025, they are also required to formally vacate their rooms and submit their room keys to their respective Hall Managers. Note: If you have an academic requirement to stay back, you may submit a request endorsed by your Faculty Advisor and Head of Department. Final approval will be given by the Associate Dean (SA), subject to room availability. Important Dates & Instructions Vacate Deadline: 27th / 28th November 2025 Storage Facility: Storerooms will be available in each hostel for luggage storage. Re-Occupation: Hostel rooms can be re-occupied starting 29th December 2025. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this period.
