Hello Tech Enthusiasts, This is a follow-up reminder to the previously circulated mail by Office Dean SA regarding Institute Awards 2025-26. Please find here the details regarding the Technical Awards under the same. We encourage all students who have contributed to enriching the technical culture of the institute to apply for the same. Also, take note of the extended deadline. The award categories are mentioned below: For exceptional contribution and work in the technical domain:

1. Roll of Honour (ROH), Citation and PG Passing out Colour – For students of the graduating batch for their exceptional contribution to Technical activities.
2. Person of the Year – Awarded to students who have stood out as stalwarts in their contribution to the Technical community in 2025-26.
3. Tech Colour – Awarded to students for exceptional contribution to Tech in 2025-26.
4. Special Mention – Awarded to students who have made notable contributions in the year 2025-26.
5. Freshmen of the Year – Awarded to students who, in their first year, had excelled in Technical activities and made significant contributions in the academic year 2025-26.

Deadline: 15th March 2026, EOD Important Details:

1. Eligibility Hierarchy: If a student applies for ROH and does not get it, they will by default be eligible for Citation, and so on. Similarly, if a student applies for Person of the Year and does not get it, they will be eligible for Colour and then Special Mention.
2. Scope of Contribution: All nominations should be accompanied by a profile detailing achievements in competitions, technical projects, mentoring, etc. Please note that only achievements representing/in/for IIT Bombay Gymkhana shall be considered while deciding the award.
