Greetings from the Institute Technical Council! As part of the Summer of Tech (ITSA), we are excited to invite you to the ITSP Brainstorming Session, your first step towards building a technical project this summer. This session is designed to help you convert ideas into actionable projects. Students will come up with their own ideas, and ITC mentors will be available offline to evaluate, refine, and validate them. You can then form teams and proceed to register for ITSP. What happens after the session? • Work begins online for the first 2 months, focusing on planning, design, and development • Teams move offline from July onwards to work on hardware and implementation • Projects culminate in the ITSP Expo (2nd week of August) • Each selected team receives a ₹10,000 grant (on a reimbursement basis) Opportunities through ITSP Expo: • Direct onboarding into Groww Invent Track A (₹30,000 prototyping support) • Direct onboarding into Groww Invent Track B (up to ₹25 lakhs for advanced prototyping) • Top teams receive grants up to ₹50,000 from the RnD Office • Selected teams may also be onboarded into the Ideas Program or incubated at SINE We encourage you to have a brief discussion with your prospective teammates and come with a tentative idea. Team registration for ITSP (abstract submission) will open immediately after the brainstorming session. Even if you are unsure about participating, we strongly recommend attending the session to understand what ITSP has to offer. Date: 30th April Time: 5:00 PM Venue: H-16 Mess We look forward to seeing you there. For any queries, feel free to reach out.
