This is a reminder that applications for the JioPC Open Innovation Challenges, April 2026 Edition, organized by the Institute Technical Council in collaboration with Jio, are closing today. The challenges focus on building impactful solutions for a cloud-based Desktop-as-a-Service platform, aimed at enabling affordable computing access across India. Participants will get the opportunity to work on real-world problem statements across areas such as: -Modern desktop UI/UX -Linux start menu systems -Telemetry tools -Sandboxed development environments -Indic language OS support -Voice-controlled desktop agents -Gaming on cloud Linux systems -Intelligent app recommendation engines These challenges are suitable for students interested in systems development, full-stack engineering, AI/ML, developer tooling, UI/UX, and open-source contributions.
