Greetings astrophiles, We’re excited to kick off weekly Friday night stargazing sessions from tomorrow at the Gymkhana Ground, where we take a break from screens and classrooms to experience the night sky firsthand. Ever looked up and wondered how many stars are actually visible, or tried spotting constellations and planets on your own? This session is meant to be a relaxed and enjoyable introduction to observational astronomy. During the stargazing session, we will guide you through identifying prominent constellations, visible planets, and other interesting celestial objects. There will also be telescope observations and informal discussions on what we see in the sky, along with tips for beginners on how to get started with stargazing. The session will begin at 11:00 PM and will be held at the Gymkhana Ground. No prior knowledge of astronomy is required, just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm.
