Greetings from Finance Club and Analytics Club, IIT Bombay! Excited about Algorithmic Trading but don’t know what kind of work is involved here? Heard a lot about it but never got a chance to gain practical exposure? Always wanted to do something related to what industry professionals do in this domain? Worry not! Finance Club and Analytics Club in collaboration with Tower Research Capital bring to you the Limestone Data Challenge competition wherein you will get answers to all your questions and win massive cash prizes. The company has designed an open-ended dataset with some funny indices and plenty of hidden treasure patterns. This data challenge will emulate the kind of work that they do and hopefully share the day-to-day excitement they feel when you uncover some of these patterns in the dataset.  You will be taking part in teams of 2 and brainstorming on how you’d want to tackle this problem. The problem statement will be released on 23rd March and the competition will be live on HackerRank from 23rd to 26th March, the details of which will be sent to the registered participants.    The top 3 winners of the competition would win cash prizes worth INR 10 lakhs and the top 50 teams will be invited in a closed session with the Tower Research team wherein you will be getting a chance to interact personally with them and also get assured gifts. Please note that this session will only be open to the top 50 teams of the competition and further details about the session will be informed to them via mail.
