We’re excited to announce ML 201, a foundational session that marks the beginning of our ML 801 Series - a set of group discussions where advanced Machine Learning concepts will be explored in depth. In this session, we will introduce Neural Networks, covering:

• What neural networks are and how they work
• Different types of neural networks
• Where and why they are used in modern ML systems

This session is designed to build intuition and set the stage for the advanced topics that will follow in the ML 801 series. Prerequisites: While it is recommended to go through the slides of ML 101 (held last semester) for better context, it is not mandatory.
