Dear All,
This is a reminder about the second session of the Astro101 series hosted by Krittika, the Astronomy Club, happening today.
The session titled “Space Is Weird” will explore some fascinating and puzzling ideas in space science, from theories of an oscillating universe that repeatedly expands and contracts, to the mysterious ridge patterns observed on Mercury and on Mars’ moon Phobos, and even the distant trans-Neptunian objects (TNOs) that orbit far beyond Neptune.
Whether you’re deeply interested in astrophysics or simply curious about the strange and surprising nature of our universe, this session promises intriguing insights and engaging discussion.
Date: 6 March
Time: 7:00 PM
Venue: Physics Seminar Room
This is a standalone session, so you are welcome to join even if you missed the first one.
Look forward to seeing you there.
