Greetings everyone,
This is a gentle reminder about the talk organised by
Krittika: The Astronomy Club today by Prof. Bhaswati Mookerjea, Chairperson, Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics, TIFR Mumbai on the topic :
How do Massive Stars Form?
Massive stars (greater than 8 Solar Masses) play a crucial role in shaping galaxies through powerful feedback processes such as UV radiation, stellar winds, shocks, and supernova explosions. Observations of molecular spectra provide key insights into the environments where such stars are born and help us understand the complex processes governing their formation and early evolution.
