Hello everyone. Finally, it feels like the right time to send this note Being a student representative, by definition, is a responsibility to act in the best interest of students, in return for the trust placed by the community. And Culturals, here in IIT Bombay is more than an event or activity, but an experience to be created, lived, and carried forward. The journey from contesting for the position of General Secretary, Cultural Affairs, to leading the Institute Cultural Council 2025–26, now ends on a happy yet emotional note. Thank you for believing in me and for making this journey memorable. It’s been an honor to serve Culturals, IIT Bombay for the past four years. I hope I have shown discipline in my work and delivered to the best of my ability. Sincere gratitude to Prof. Suryanarayana Doolla, Prof. Dasaka Murty, Prof. Atul Srivastava, the SAC Office, the staff, and all Gymkhana Bodies, with whom I have had the privilege to work. Milestones achieved during the tenure of Culturals Gymkhana, 2025-26 are the result of the collective efforts of the Institute Cultural Council- our Secretaries, Nominees, Overall-Coordinators and a dedicated team of Conveners, as well as every individual who has contributed to our institute's cultural sphere. Keeping a special mention in this signing-off mail for my wonderful team: Sthitadhi, Dinesh, Arjun, Omprakash, Siddharth, Preksha, Shreyas, Harshita, Aman, Chaheti, Toyaj, Zaif, Muskan, Viraj, Varshini, Gagan, Avishkar, and Shalmali. Beyond all of this, a signing-off note is an expression of gratitude to many, an apology to some, and the passing on of responsibility to one. As Omprakash Chaturvedi takes over as the General Secretary, Cultural Affairs, I am confident he will carry this responsibility forward and take the institute’s cultural journey to even greater heights.
