Howdy Fellas! The summers have returned and so have we. To kick things off in style, we bring back to you our flagship summer programme - Summer of Science! Indulge over the summer in exploring a topic of your choice, guided by proficient mentors from our institute, present or past. Beyond the learning outcomes, Summer of Science is a wonderful way to add to your profile and exhibit competency in a topic. It gives us immense pleasure to invite applications for MENTORS for the Summer of Science 2026, across all topics as enlisted in the document. A mentor is an individual with some experience in campus who has studied or worked on a topic in the past and can guide a few mentees over the summer on the same. Responsibilities expected from a mentor would be providing learning resources, holding occasional meetings with mentees, keeping tabs on their progress and interaction by maintaining a mentee log and of course, resolving doubts. It's a very flexible commitment and has to be done entirely online, of course. We believe SoS mentorship is a great way to give back to the institute and also enhance your expertise on a topic by refreshing it through interaction with folks learning the same.
