This time, we’ve also included some extra details related to being a mentor, be sure to read them and reach out to us incase of any doubts. Q. Who can be an SoS mentor? A. Unless you’re an undergraduate first year student, anyone who was/is a student in IITB! Q. What do you need to be an SoS mentor? A. Prior expertise in any topic you’ve worked on before. This can come from a course you’ve taken, a project you’ve done during your time here (may even be an SoS project you had taken up!) or any research you’re currently doing. Q. What are the responsibilities of an SoS mentor? A. Your responsibilities will be to: - Discuss with your mentees to develop a plan of action for the 2-month duration. - ⁠Keep track of their progress by maintaining a mentee log and holding meetings with them - ⁠ Resolve any doubts they may have!
