Dear students,
We are pleased to inform you that an invited talk on Trustworthy AI will be delivered by Prof. Morten Dæhlen, University of Oslo, Co-Director of TRUST - The Norwegian Centre for Trustworthy AI, on 5 February.
- Venue: CC 109, New Computing Centre
- Date: February 5, 2026
- Time: 4:30 PM Onwards
In this presentation, Prof. Dæhlen will introduce TRUST - The Norwegian Centre for Trustworthy AI, and reflect on how trustworthiness in Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be understood and embedded while developing future AI systems. With emphasis on selected research questions, he will outline some of the core research activities at TRUST and discuss how TRUST researchers engage with partners across the private, public, and civil sectors. The talk will also highlight examples of sustainable AI solutions from the health, energy, and maritime sectors.
Established in 2025, TRUST has around 80 national and international partners from academia, industry, and the public sector, and is hosted by the University of Oslo. While TRUST already collaborates with strong international partners such as UC Berkeley and the University of Cambridge, it is actively seeking further international collaborations, particularly beyond Europe and North America.
