Since its inception, SHUNYA (Sustainable Housing for an Urbanizing Nation by its Young Aspirants) has represented IIT Bombay and India at prestigious international events such as the Solar Decathlon. We have successfully designed and constructed three full-scale net-zero energy houses, blending architecture, engineering, and environmental responsibility. Each year, SHUNYA brings together passionate individuals from diverse disciplines—including architecture, civil, mechanical, electrical, computer science, and beyond—to collaborate on hands-on sustainable housing and product innovation projects.
