Hello from Team SHUNYA. We invite you to join the Team SHUNYA Trainee Program, a guided introduction to sustainability and intelligent living systems. Team SHUNYA is IIT Bombay’s sustainable housing team and the first Indian team to win the international Solar Decathlon, organised by the US Department of Energy. With multiple global recognitions and three full-scale net-zero energy houses developed, the team brings hands-on experience in designing and building real-world sustainable solutions. Through this program, participants will be introduced to the key stages of sustainable innovation. Members of Team SHUNYA will share insights into energy-efficient building design, structural and mechanical system integration, smart home automation inspired by JARVIS-like systems, and the emerging role of Artificial Intelligence in monitoring and optimising sustainable homes. Each session will offer a practical perspective on how modern homes are evolving into intelligent, adaptive, and energy-conscious environments. Students interested in sustainability, engineering, automation, and future technologies are encouraged to participate and explore how interdisciplinary systems come together to shape the future of sustainable living.
