The Digital Dorm Workshop on MATLAB & Simulink

May 16, 2026, midnight to May 21, 2026, 2 p.m.
Online
Greetings from the Energy & Sustainability Club! We are pleased to announce The Digital Dorm, an interactive workshop focused on MATLAB & Simulink applications in smart energy systems and room-level energy modelling. The workshop is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of simulation-based analysis using MATLAB Simulink through practical and engaging examples inspired by everyday energy systems. Participants will explore how engineering tools can be used to model, simulate, and analyse systems commonly found in modern living spaces, including smart energy consumption and appliance behaviour. Workshop Highlights Mode: Online (MS Teams) Date: 21st May 2026 Time: 2:00 PM onwards • Introduction to MATLAB & Simulink • Basics of simulation and system modelling • Energy consumption modelling in smart environments • Hands-on demonstration of real-world applications Who Can Participate: Open to all IIT Bombay students interested in simulation, energy systems, automation, or engineering design. Prior experience with MATLAB is not mandatory.
