For any space enthusiast, receiving signals from satellites using your equipment is a dream come true. For a student satellite team, establishing your own ground station is a must. To get started, it is very important to know what exactly goes inside a ground station. To make all this possible, we bring to you our annual flagship event, the Ground Station Workshop 2022. Ground Station Workshop is a day-long free of cost technical workshop where the students of the Student Satellite Program, IIT Bombay, will walk you through the various technical aspects like designing and fabricating different antennas, transmitters, satellite reception, etc. We will also have live demonstrations and non-technical learnings in team management and cost analysis. We are also delighted to have Mr Ashhar Farhan, Founder and CTO of Satellize (Formerly Exseed Space), as the Keynote Speaker. The workshop will be held on 6th February in the online mode. It is open to all engineering students and faculty, although non-engineering students can also attend.
