Their group works at the intersection of AI/ML and the chemical and biological sciences. They are designing Generative AI and Reinforcement Learning models to create novel anticancer drug candidates and discover new chemical systems.
They are looking for motivated B.Tech students who are excited about hands-on, lab-based research. Students will receive strong mentorship, lab access, and a clear path to publications.
BTech Research Openings: (GenAI + RL) × (Drug discovery + Chemistry)
What you will do
- Build and test ML models involving Generative AI and Reinforcement Learning on Drug Discovery and Chemistry Datasets
- Work on real time Cancer patient dataset (In collaboration with Tata Memorial Hospital)
Generate candidate molecules and help validate them in the lab
- Keep clean code, logs, and figures aiming towards a research paper
What you will learn
- Insightful research work in the domain of applied ML
- Exposure to various application-based ML pipelines
- Good research practice, writing, and presentations
- How to turn results into journal-ready outputs
