Greetings from EnPoWER  We are excited to announce a unique internship opportunity for the upcoming summer with the Industrial Research Consultancy Centre (IRCC) at IIT Bombay. As the key unit driving research and development initiatives and facilitating collaborations with external organizations, IRCC is offering students a chance to work closely with their team, engage with professors, and gain valuable insights into patents and technologies developed at IIT Bombay. Here are the details of the internship: 1) Internship Details: • Duration: 2 months (during the summer break) • Working hours: 8 hours/day • Start Date: 18th May 2025 2) Role Description: IRCC is curating a comprehensive compendium that includes patents filed, technologies transferred to industries, and central research facilities at IIT Bombay. This resource will play a key role in attracting industrial investments and creating opportunities for IIT Bombay students. Interns will be responsible for gathering information on the patents and technologies at IIT Bombay, collaborating with professors and other authorities. The role involves content creation, documentation, and research writing to effectively compile and present this information. The internship provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience with dignitaries, as well as exposure to the Dean of R&D's office. This role is ideal for students interested in research, as it offers in-depth knowledge in the field. 3. Stipend: The interns will be divided into internship structures as below:  New patent documentation with Faculty signoffs (10 positions) Internship Stipend Structure Total Internship Stipend/ Month (Rs.) Base Rate for 12 patents / month 10,000 next 5 patents @ 1000 / patent -- 5,000 next 5 patents @ 1200 / patent -- 6,000 Total for 22 New patents / month (further patents to be paid at the highest slab rate) --21,000

Candidate Expectations: • A basic understanding of research facilities, patents, and technologies • Availability during the summer break • Strong interpersonal skills • Analytical mindset • Proficiency in content writing and summarization • Usage of AI tools to standardise the process and workflow • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing • Mandatory attendance at weekly Friday in-person meetings
2. The Offline Briefing session for selected students will be held on 18th May 2025. Attendance is mandatory. Students from the 2nd, 3rd, or final year are eligible to apply for the internship.  Interns will be selected and allocated tasks, as stated above, based on their interests and skill set.
