About PGAC

Voice of the PG Academia

We represent and communicate the academic interests of IIT Bombay's postgraduate students. From coursework concerns to research infrastructure, we listen, advocate, and deliver.

The Post Graduate Academic Council (PGAC) is the official student body representing the academic concerns of postgraduate students. Formed in 2009, it serves as a bridge between IIT Bombay's administration and the PG community. Headed by General Secretary of Academic Affairs (PG).

  • To update and improve educational facilities for PG students
  • To advocate on behalf of students, and take forward their concerns related to academics and research
  • To build and grow with the current times by helping in revising and evaluating the curriculum to ensure competence along technological growth
  • To create a knowledge-driven campus by organizing several conferences, seminars and lectures for the benefit of students
